Meet Prince Abdulrazak Mustapha

Dear Hopefuls,
Our Hopeful for today is:

Abdularazak Mustapha

Prince of the Fombina Kingdom,
North East, Nigeria

He shares with us his stories from the royal house.

OurSharedHope: Who is Abdulrazak Mustapha to the average AUN person or any other person?

Abdulrazak M. : Abdulrazak Mustapha is just a normal person with great personality. The coolest kid in AUN (Laughs)

OurSharedHope: The coolest kid in AUN? Tell us more.

Abdulrazak M. : I associate myself with almost everyone in the school. I have lots of friends from 1st year to 4th year including teaching and non-teaching staff.

OurSharedHope: Do you think most people associate with you because you are from a royal house?

Abdulrazak M. : Some do and some don't!

OurSharedHope: How do you cope with the ones who do?

Abdulrazak M. : I have a way doing that but i prefer to keep to myself (Smiles warmly)

OurSharedHope: Okay. Royalty, how does it feel?

Abdulrazak M. : Royalty is everything. It is on a different level. Do you know how it feels when you go outside and when people see you they begin to bow down and greet you? Mad feeling to be honest plus people respect by default.

OurSharedHope: Now coming to your education, how has that affected you?
Positively and negatively

PRINCE ABDULRAZAK AND COUNCIL
Abdulrazak M. : Positively because I want to be a better person and by going school I can shape my life the way I want. I have a dream of becoming the Lamido of Adamawa that's the premier ruler of the Fombina kingdom and in order for me to achieve what I want I have to go through formal education plus so many things are changing now and you need the right qualifications for it plus it gives me an edge over some of the candidates for the position

OurSharedHope: You have been giving free things and been pardoned on short comings because you're from a royal house, you can't be punished?

Abdulrazak M. : No who said that? Is not true. I'm like any other person out there. As a leader I have to abide by the law. I have to set an example for my followers to follow and this is part of the qualities of a good leader.

OurSharedHope: So being a brother to the Lamido, the difficulties of royalty weigh in right? Tell us about that.

Abdulrazak M.: Yes it does but this is something personal (Smiles warmly)

OurSharedHope: You're a business man? What sort of business?

Abdulrazak M. : Yes I'm a businessman I have different houses out there on rent and I have lots of landed property out there and many other small businesses.

OurSharedHope: Seems fitting to say you are made (Smiles Warmly) Well, AUN and the friends you've made, how have they shaped you?

Abdulrazak M. : AUN changed my life! I'm proud to be a student of this prestigious institution. My friends are of me right now. I can't do without the real ones (Chuckles)

OurSharedHope: Any shoutout mentions?

PRINCE ABDULRAZAK
Abdulrazak M. : Wow! Let me start by thanking all the faculty members that helped in shaping my life directly or indirectly in the school and to my brothers Sanusi Dangote, Aliyu Mohammed, Ahmed kollere, Abacha, kojoli and Hamza Bello for believing and supporting me always. Last and most importantly the founder of AUN, Turaki of Adamawa my Daddy.

OurSharedHope: What do you think is OurSharedHope?

Abdulrazak M. : Is a platform for youths to share their stories with the world. This is an amazing platform. This platform is the first of its kind in the country and it needs massive support from us in order for it to reach its potential.

OurSharedHope: Is there any other story you would like to share with us?

Abdulrazak M.: Just a little advice for the youths out there. Don't allow anyone to tell you that you're not up to the task. Hard work pays off and I am a living prove. Chase your dreams. You don't have to be under somebody to be somebody in this country. Work hard and pray! Thank you for this wonderful experience. Big ups👊
